Gitwangak Youth Connections (GYC)

The GYC's first mission is to offer social, service and learning opportunities to the ages of 0-29.
Our second and most important mission is to provide experiences that encourage youth to participate, grow, and have fun in a safe and inclusive environment. 
The GYC collaborates with both local schools; Wilp & KES, as well as the Gitxsan Child & Family Services Society, Wilp Si' Satxw, Hall Committee, Health Station, Upper Skeena Dev. Center, and the surrounding communities to offer meaningful programming that makes the best possible use of resources.
If you would like to learn more about the GYC, we would be glad to hear from you. We are prepared to take both positive & negative feedback, as one encourages us to keep up the good work and the other to help us improve in areas that aren't successful. Our site directors can tell you about volunteer or incentive opportunities and can help discuss ways for you to get involved.
